Ondrej Mihálik is a Lead Software Engineer at the Eaton European Innovation Center and a researcher at Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Automation and Measurement from Brno University of Technology in 2017 and 2019, respectively, and is currently completing his Ph.D. studies in Cybernetics, Control, and Measurement, with a focus on anomaly detection.

His research interests include modern signal processing, machine learning, data-driven modelling, and their application to real-world engineering challenges. Alongside his research and industrial work, he supervises university students and supports the development of young engineering talent. Through collaboration between Brno University of Technology and Eaton, students have opportunities to continue as interns at the Eaton European Innovation Center, where they gain practical experience in signal processing and machine learning. Ondrej is passionate about connecting academic research, student development, and industrial innovation.
