Min Zhang
Dr Min Zhang is an EMC consultant based in Oxford, UK. He received his PhD from Newcastle University’s Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department in 2013, where he researched novel power-switching schemes to reduce EMI emissions. His publications in this area have since received numerous citations.
After completing his PhD, Min worked as an EMC specialist on key programmes at Dyson Technology, UK. With a strong track record in designing state-of-the-art electronics and electric machines with minimal EMC issues, he went on to establish the EMC capability for Dyson’s Electric Vehicle project.
Following his time at Dyson, Min founded Mach One Design EMC Consulting, where he has delivered extensive EMC troubleshooting, design reviews and training. His in-depth knowledge of power electronics, digital electronics, electric machines and product design helps clients bring robust products to market efficiently and cost-effectively. He currently chairs the IEEE EMC Chapter of the UK & Ireland.
