I’ve been in the Electronics industry for over 4 decades, hence am now regarded as a “veteran”.  Initially working in Semiconductors, then Thermal Imaging Cameras, Power Supplies, Automotive Electronics, Defence Communications and finally back to Power Supplies.  This varied career has enabled me to see the world of electronics from multiple viewpoints and try and be always ready for “the next big thing”.  My work has primarily been in design and managing the design groups of the various companies I have worked for, from small 10-person businesses to large multi-nationals.

In this period I have written many technical papers and even a book; “EMC at Component and PCB Level” (still available at Amazon) and experienced the changes in regulations as well as increased digitalisation technologies impacting the electronics within many applications sectors.
