Mark Preston is the Motorsport Director at Lola Cars and the Team Principal of the Lola Formula E Team, partnered with Yamaha.  Over a 30-year motorsport career he has won five Teams and Drivers World Championships as Team Principal at the TECHEETAH Formula E Team and worked on and built high performance teams in F1 with Roles at McLaren and Arrows, and co-founding Super Aguri F1 team with Honda.  He later took that engineering and leadership grounding into autonomous vehicles as a founder of StreetDrone.

Mark combines his hands-on career with an Oxford MBA, and speaks widely on what high-performance motorsport teaches business leaders about speed, adaptability, and decision-making under pressure.  At Lola, he is currently applying that thinking to the next generation of racing programmes leveraging the latest artificial intelligence capabilities to deliver performance faster.
