She has held senior roles at Bombardier Transportation and Tesco Property, driving innovation and strategic growth. Now a Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, Karen leads industry engagement through student placements, collaborative projects, and the Industrial Liaison Committee. Her work bridges academia and business, creating real-world opportunities that empower young designers and deliver value to industry.
