With over 12 years of experience in strategic partnerships and business development, Joel Alex leads on employer engagement activities in the STEM sector at Nottingham Trent University. He oversees a wide portfolio of initiatives, including advertising opportunities, careers fairs, degree showcases, and bespoke employer events, all designed to connect students with industry. Joel manages relationships with a range of leading technology and engineering organisations including JLR, BAE Systems, IBM, Rolls-Royce, and many others, helping to shape collaborative opportunities that support both talent pipelines and innovation.
