Isabel Li is the Founder and Director of XL Consulting UK Ltd., where she helps businesses explore international growth opportunities through market insight, strategic partnerships and cross-border collaboration.

Before founding XL Consulting, Isabel spent ten years at London & Partners, London's international trade and investment agency, supporting overseas companies looking to establish and grow their presence in the UK across sectors including technology, sustainability, advanced manufacturing and the creative industries.

Today, Isabel's work is increasingly focused on engineering, advanced manufacturing, MedTech and deep technology. She works with UK organisations exploring opportunities in Asia and supports Asian companies seeking to engage with the UK's innovation ecosystem.

Alongside XL Consulting, Isabel serves as Head of China at International Management Answers (IMA), is the China commercial representative for London Tech Week, and supports the Greater Manchester Business Chamber as an official supplier for the China and Hong Kong markets.

As a member of the Engineering Design Show Advisory Board, Isabel brings an international business and market development perspective to the engineering community. She is particularly interested in helping innovative companies better understand international markets, build meaningful partnerships and identify practical opportunities for sustainable growth.
