Dr Luke Siena is a Senior Lecturer in Product Design within the School of Architecture Design & The Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University. Luke's primary responsibilities include teaching across both BA/BSc and MA/MSc Product Design courses in addition to supporting undergraduate and postgraduate research students. Dr Siena conducts scholarship research in the areas of product design, sustainability and design education and also conducts research in the areas of design for production, sustainability, medical device design, medical product design and medical engineering alongside academics within the Product Innovation Centre and the Medical Engineering Design Research Group at NTU. Dr Siena has worked with numerous funders and received funding for research projects from the National Institute For Health and Care Research (NIHR), Innovate UK, etc. Dr Siena also supervises PhD students across numerous product design and engineering subjects/topics.
