Ellie is a Senior Engineering Manager at Arm, leading AI Enablement for her group. She focuses on building the technical capability, ways of working and engineering-management practices teams need to thrive in an AI-enabled workplace.

She holds an MSc and PhD in Engineering, and brings over a decade of experience from the defence sector, where she began as a systems engineer and telecommunications standards delegate before progressing through technical leadership roles into engineering management. At Arm, she initially led performance tooling teams before moving into AI Enablement.

Ellie is particularly interested in how organisations can protect and strengthen early-career development as AI reshapes traditional junior work, supporting engineers to take ownership of their growth while developing the practical AI fluency that modern engineering demands.
