I have over 20 years’ experience in both and academic research at the Universities of Loughborough, Derby and Nottingham, Hazid Technologies Ltd. (Nottingham) and Bloc Digital (Derby).   I hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering, an EngD in Computer Science and a MSc in Computing, all from Loughborough University.  My current role focuses on how digital manufacturing tools can be made more user-friendly.  I am interested in transdisciplinary approaches to develop smart interfaces which take account of human factors.
