Rohde & Schwarz presents T&M solutions for design engineers

Test and measurement industry leader Rohde & Schwarz will be showcasing its range of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analysers and power supplies at the EDS Show, 16-17 October 2019. Designed with the high quality and precision that users have come to expect from Rohde & Schwarz, these instruments provide the performance needed for every day applications like EMI debug, power integrity, battery simulation, channel power, and low speed serial bus debug.

With new 13 GHz and 16 GHz models, the R&S RTP high-performance oscilloscope family, the most compact multi-purpose lab instrument available, is now scalable from the 4 GHz minimum up to the full 16 GHz bandwidth. Additional new highlights are powerful debugging functions such as the high-speed serial pattern trigger using hardware-based clock-data-recovery (CDR) up to 16 Gbps, or the DDR4 signal integrity and compliance test. The R&S RTP oscilloscope now also provides time domain reflection (TDR) and transmission (TDT) analysis to characterize and debug signal paths.

The entry-level line of oscilloscopes from Rohde & Schwarz come equipped with a logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, waveform and pattern generator, and voltmeter in the same instrument. Featuring the power of 10, the R&S RTB2000 and R&S RTM3000 include a class exclusive 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (A/D converter), the largest memory depth in the corresponding class and a 10.1-inch touchscreen offering the highest resolution in its class; 1280x800 pixel. The 10-bit A/D converter provides sharper waveforms and more signal details compared to conventional 8-bit A/D converters, yielding up to four-fold improvement.

The R&S FPC1500 spectrum analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz delivers unexpectedly high performance for the entry class: Frequency range of 5 kHz up to 3 GHz; upgrade with just a keycode; large, high resolution display; remote control software options. It does more than spectrum analysis – it offers the Value of Three: spectrum analysis, plus one-port vector network analysis, plus signal generator functionality.
