LC 100 Series

HEIDENHAIN have expanded their range of LC sealed absolute linear encoders with the introduction of the new LC 116 and LC 416 variants. In many applications air purge is used to enhance the IP rating of the linear encoder. These new encoders now incorporate optimised optical scanning technology enabling operation under far more onerous conditions - in particular they have improved resistance to liquid contamination. This saves installation costs as no air purge or air lines are needed and lowers operating costs as less maintenance, such as replacing air filters, is required.

LC linear encoders are available with measuring lengths up to 4,240mm (single section) and 28,040mm (multi section) with a number of industry standard interfaces available including EnDat.
